Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-05-02

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NetWorthy (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using NetWorthy on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.

1) Who can use NetWorthy

  • You must be able to form a binding contract where you live.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the Service is legal for you to use.
  • The Service is not intended for children.

2) Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Keep your password safe and notify us if you believe your account was compromised.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

3) What the Service does (and does not do)

NetWorthy helps you track assets and liabilities, enter values manually, and (for certain plans and asset types) view or sync market values from third-party data sources.

NetWorthy does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Any output, charts, scores, insights, or forecasts are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.

4) Your content and permissions

  • You retain ownership of information you enter (such as holdings, balances, and notes).
  • You grant NetWorthy permission to process your content to provide and improve the Service.
  • You are responsible for the legality of the content you provide and for any rights needed to use it.

5) Third-party services (Google, Stripe, data providers)

The Service may integrate with third parties such as Google (sign-in) and Stripe (payments). Market data may come from external providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

NetWorthy is not responsible for third-party outages, inaccuracies, pricing changes, or data availability.

6) Plans, billing, and changes

  • Some features require a paid plan. Pricing and plan features may change over time.
  • Subscription billing and cancellation are handled through Stripe where available.
  • Taxes may apply depending on your location.

7) Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access or probe accounts that are not yours.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
  • Do not use the Service to violate laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
  • Do not upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or attempt to bypass security controls.

8) Availability and maintenance

We aim to keep NetWorthy available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the Service.

9) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NetWorthy and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or zero if you did not pay).

11) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the security of the Service.

12) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
